General Terms and Conditions

  1. This website and the Sustainability Tool are the property of Comeos (0407.150.471), UNIZO (0410.337.219) and Becom (0894.199.943). Nothing from this website or the Sustainability Tool may be copied without the explicit, written permission of Comeos, UNIZO and Becom. It is likewise not permitted to link to the website without the consent of Comeos, UNIZO and Becom.
  2. The user acknowledges that the Sustainability Tool is intended solely as an indication of the level of sustainability of the user's webshop, which naturally depends on the data entered by the user. The result and any recommendations generated by the Sustainability Tool should therefore not be considered as binding advice and are solely intended for the user's internal use. The user is not permitted to mention the result of the Sustainability Tool externally (website, brochures, etc.).
  3. Although Comeos, UNIZO and Becom do their utmost to present the information on the website and in the Sustainability Tool correctly, it may exceptionally occur that certain data or results contain errors. Use of the website and the tool is therefore at the user's own risk. The user expressly acknowledges that any compensation for damage resulting from the use of the Sustainability Tool, within legal limits, is governed exclusively by contract law, even when the event giving rise to the damage also constitutes a wrongful act. The user further acknowledges that compensation for damage in such cases is limited to direct damage, and cannot cover indirect damage such as loss of profits, loss of opportunity, reputational damage, moral damage, etc., except in cases of intent or gross negligence by Comeos, UNIZO or Becom or if, by virtue of a provision of mandatory law or public order, broader compensation is required.
  4. Comeos, UNIZO and Becom retain all intellectual property rights to the website and the Sustainability Tool. In no way can the use of the Sustainability Tool, nor the result obtained by the user through the Sustainability Tool, be considered as a transfer of these rights, unless expressly provided otherwise.
  5. The data entered by the user when creating an account or using the Sustainability Tool is required to prevent unlawful use of the Sustainability Tool. This data may also be used by Comeos, UNIZO and Becom to provide the user with relevant information about their services, membership and offers. The user may object to this at any time by notifying Comeos, UNIZO or Becom.
  6. Use of the Sustainability Tool is subject to Belgian law. In the event of any disputes, only the courts of the judicial district of Brussels shall have jurisdiction.
