Why and How Do We Process Your Data?
The personal data you provide when creating your account or completing the Sustainability Tool are processed because they are necessary for the proper functioning of the Sustainability Tool, but also to prevent unlawful use of the Sustainability Tool.
Based on the legitimate interest of the data controllers to gain insights into the market, the data from the Sustainability Tool are also processed into aggregated market figures (for studies, publications, etc.). Personal data from the Sustainability Tool are only processed for this purpose to achieve aggregated insights and are never published or disclosed individually.
Based on the legitimate interest of the data controllers to prospect, your data may also be used by the data controllers to inform you of their relevant offerings. You can object to this processing at any time by simply notifying the relevant data controller.
When you visit our website, 'cookies' may be placed to ensure the website functions properly. Your data or browsing behaviour are only tracked if you give consent. Please read our cookie policy for more information.
How Long Do We Retain Your Data?
We retain your data up to one year after you have deleted your account.
If you object to a processing of your data based on our legitimate interest, the relevant data will be deleted immediately, unless we also need this data for another purpose and have obtained the data within that purpose.
Your Rights Regarding the Processing of Your Data
Regarding the data we need to execute the agreement and comply with our accounting obligations, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access: You have the right to request access to your data, and to the purposes of the processing, the retention period, the legal basis, etc.;
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to request immediate correction of any incorrect data, or to supplement incomplete data;
- Right to Restriction of Processing: If you exercise the right to rectification, you also have the right to request us to temporarily not process your data until your data are correct again. This right to restriction of processing also applies in the cases described in Article 17 of the GDPR;
- Right to Erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your data when they are no longer necessary in light of the purposes for which they were processed;
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to receive the data we process about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the corresponding right to transfer these data to another data controller;
You can exercise these rights easily and free of charge by simply asking one of the data controllers.
Regarding the data we process based on legitimate interest, you have the above-described rights, supplemented with:
- Right to Object: You can object to this processing at any time by simply notifying one of the data controllers. They will respond to this request as soon as possible, but pending this you also have the right to request a restriction of the processing of your data until your request has been fulfilled.
